Federal Funded Abortions

Did you hear...another broken promise by Obama has come to light...federal funded Abortions with the "new Obama Health Care" plan will be allowed in PA. Other state Health plans are lined up to use funds in the same way.

I believed he signed a special presidential proclamation that said that this wouldn't happen...it was this very "worthless paper promise" that got the Health Care bill passed in Congress.

Now we have another OBAMA Lie made to the American people to add to the growing list.....how can his supporters approve and still support a president who out and out lies like this to the American people? It is obvious that his personal word means nothing to him... how can you Obama supporters out in Sowal land overlook this lie made to the American people? Can you justify and defend this Obama lie or will you say it just doesn't mean anything?

As a female who thinks an abortion is a medical procedure that is none of your damn business unless you are getting or performing one, I could frankly care less.

I agree that it is a woman's right to choose. I just do not want to pay for it with federal funds. If you want an abortion then you can pay for it. I do not care how poor you are.

I feel the same way about erectile dysfunction drugs, many plastic surgery procedures, politician's per diems and pensions, reality TV, and anything provided to prisoners that isn't a cot, a toilet, and some bars.

You pay for mine, I pay for yours.

Not to sound nasty...I too am a female and my tax money being used to fund your abortion (or your medical procedure as you wish to call it) is my business, also that our President of the United States lied to all of us to get his Obama Care passed should be all of our business.... .sorry that you frankly don't care about that one either.

Just Google the topic...lots of links are out there....I'm sure that an independent woman such as yourself doesn't need my help in providing you a source of information.

Obama has been successful on more of his promises than most presidents and he's not even 2 years in yet. It is probably because of the employment situation that this is being overlooked.
Anyway, you should at least give him the credit deserved because he has been busy!

You posted it as breaking news - the burden is on you to provide further info.

I am not outraged (IF it is even true) because I thought it was incredibly stupid to begin with that we are refusing to cover basic medical procedures in a "universal" health care bill.

No matter what your personal feelings or religious views are about it, the fact remains that abortion is a medical procedure that is not always an elective "choice" due to health reasons.

this is a high risk pool. The likelihood that women would be coming to this program to have abortion coverage is very limited. These are people with serious illnesses that have gone without coverage and care because of pre-existing conditions.?

No. 299: Eliminate disparity in sentencing for crack and cocaine

The Promise:


"Will work in a bipartisan way to eliminate disparities" between mandatory sentences for trafficking crack cocaine versus powder cocaine, which he believes has disproportionately filled our prison with young black and Latino drug users. "They will also repeal the mandatory minimum sentence for first-time offenders convicted of simple possession of crack, as crack is the only drug that a non-violent first-time offender can receive a mandatory minimum sentence for possessing."


This was a really big ?) promise...a free get out of Jail card. There are lots more "oromises" just like this one on your link...these aren't promises more like agendas in my humble opinion.
