Dunes are gone at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Roads at Florida Caverns State Parks seem to no longer exist. Hurricane Michael carved a new beach from the shoreline at Little St. George Island with 100-plus mph winds.
Fourteen state parks from Leon to Bay County are closed until further notice due to damage from the Oct. 10 storm.
