Hubby has relatively few food hates: mayonnaise, ketchup, olives, coffee, turnip/collard greens, tuna/chicken salad/pimiento cheese sandwiches. Also anything in Asia with seaweed.
Daughter and I adore ketchup. Hubby cringes as we douse our fries and even our burgers in large quantities of ketchup.
As a child I loved mayonnaise sandwiches with fresh white bread. Now one of my go-to lunches in the warmer months is a sandwich made from Hellman's low-fat mayo with cheese and white bread. If we have good tomatoes, I'll leave off the cheese. This time of the year I like a toasted English muffin with cheese and EVOO (and a few basil leaves if I have them) for a rapid lunch.
