I love Bourdain - learn a lot about places and food, but have learned to be quick on the remote for some uber-icky dishes or promos for that damn gross-out show that follows it. :angry:

Oh, not at all. He is a very kind gentleman. His family are regulars there, and they and his corporation have given the restaurant much business.

I found Kitchen Confidential to be very enlightening. Have you read it? I have a copy I can give you the next time I see you.

No one has mentioned Anthony Bourdain (sp?) or that nut job that can't get through an episode without eating some animals testicles.

That nut job would be Andrew Zimmern.

Yes - also read his next book that is a collection of articles/short stories - can't remember the exact title - Short cuts or bits or something.
