If you really venture west, the Bangkok House in downtown Fort Walton Beach is verrrrrry good. My spouse and I went there on our first date. Sixteen years later, I've never had a bad meal there.

I haven't tried Bangkok Thai yet; I'll have to check it out. But I thought Makong Thai was really good - it's right behind the strip in FWB near Big City Bistro and Skate Plus.

Mrs Hop and I went to Nan's (i think that's the name) Indian restraunt (next to chan's wine) in destin...very good...worth the drive. Owner said they are changing the name to Bombay "something" to avoid confusion..check it out

We've been to Thai Elephant several times - it's never busy during our visits however, the service and food is consistent and tasty each time.

Whoever opens a decent Thai place in Sowal will automatically be guaranteed a healthy percentage of my yearly income.

Thai Elephant is great, especially the yellow or green curry.

I thought the Royal Orchid deal at Mystic Porte (Grayton Bch) fell through. It doesn't look like they have done any more work on it.

we talked to donna (royal orc owner) just a few weeks ago. it's a go... apparently with a different buyer.
