Martini's or straight up? You're favorite brand?

Anything containing vodka is not a martini. Ditto for anything that comes in a pastel color or chocolate. There is only one martini-gin, some component of vermouth and optional olive. Period. End of discussion. Lock thread now.

:D What he said. Tangueray.

Beefeaters straight up 3 olives:D. Tangueray goes with tonic for me.
Here's a tasty "martini". It was quite a hit a the "martini party" we sell for our school fund raising auction. We called it the Princess Valentini Martini.

2 parts vodka (Skunky, I know, I know)
1 part Gran Gala
1 part peach cranberry juice.
Shake over ice.
Pour into glasses
Fancy Option: Add a splash of pink champagne to give it a few bubbles.

I wouldn't pick either one. I like a shot of Crown Royal or Tequila once a year. The rest of the time it is a beer. I go through a 12 pack a year,

Neither. It's Macallan single-malt Scotch for us if we aren't doing wine or beer.

That being said, a Tanqueray and tonic takes me back to steeplechases in the spring in the Carolinas, spring break beach trips, and spring parties with our BFFs S.O.B.

Hubby stayed with Scotch.

Both :D

I prefer a Vesper.....

Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, 1/2 measure of Kina Lillet, dash of bitters.
Shaken to ice-cold, add a thin ribbon of lemon twist....

BTW skunky....been meaning to talk to you bout' by liver....;-)
