Sly's been AWOL from the music scene forever. There were rumors he was dead, but apparently he was just laying low. For good reason, it seems. He took a really bad turn with really bad drugs starting around '70, and from the looks of things, hasn't exactly conquered that demon. He looked a mess, and I felt sorry to see him like that. But...regardless, there's something magical about a reunion like that thats been such a long time coming. I dont usually watch award shows, but I was working on the web at the time, and parts of last night really blew me away. Great mix of old and new.

I was in & out of the living room last night when the Grammy's were on tv. I spotted this character & wondered who the heck he was. Immediately, I thought - I'm sure someone will post his identity on SoWal.com. As usual, you guys came through with the info!

I was thinking about ktschris when U2 won.

I personally was ticked off when Gold Digger didn't win. The performance was very creative and well done IMHO.

My boys did good. But of course I knew the album was great, just glad now everyone else does. But I didn't get to see it!! Stupid science project!!! I hate this time of year. I did see them accept the last two awards and the final performance with everyone...that was great! I love when a variety of talent comes together and just jams!
