All those dogs are so cute. We lost our grayhound about a year ago and I'm starting to feel puppy fever coming on! Maybe I can get a shot for it. I'm just not ready yet, but they sure are fun to look at.

My parents had two Greyhounds. The sweetest dogs I have ever seen (well except for my two. :) Anyway, they make great loyal family members. I am sorry about your loss ktchris. I had to put my 12 year old doberman down 3 years ago. I am still not over it. I had her since she was 6 weeks old. I hope that you will be ready soon to get another fur baby. I have 2 more now and love so much. Take Care.

Thanks Kathy. It is hard. Everyone around me is getting puppies so I can get my fix. But I also just moved into a new house and thinking about my carpet :)

I crate trained my puppies it worked out great for the housebreaking part. Of course, it is like having a new baby around. I got up in the middle of the night with her and took her our if I heard her moving around. She would go potty then go right back to sleep in her crate. Just thought I would give you something else to think about!!!! The time will come when you are ready to do it again.

If and when we get another dog, it won't be a puppy. I'm a big fan of the rescued dogs. Grayhounds are my favorite. Now, it's just a time thing, both kids are in school, sad to think of a poor dog home in a crate all day by himself.
