scrambled eggs/sweet thai chili sauce

I like mine with catsup which totally grosses out anyone who hasn't grown up on the East coast.
DD, I don't think anything can be considered an odd combination of food, not after today. My home page is MSNBC news and the lead article was about insects as food. I mean, they were talking about eating things that I associate with going on the end of a hook (or things you stamp on with your feet).![]()
Eggs...yuck (unless they're deviled)
Eggs with catsup(or ketchup as we say/spell in Texas)...double yuck--you and Mr. DD ain't right.
Lexi was telling me today about her old boss who used to work in Liberia. The boss had to eat rats. No!! I will not think about this any more!!
I read somewhere that in South America guinea pigs are considered a delicacy. I don't think I'd like to eat them either.
Tonight I made a curry and the last ingredient was 2 T golden raisins. The main ingredients were the curry sauce base, onions, and meat, so it seemed odd to put a fruit in with all the savory ingredients! But it worked. In fact the curry would have been dead boring without the hint of sweetness the raisins provided.
I wonder how people make up recipes.

Gooey Grilled Cheese loaded with dill pickle rounds...dipped in Heinz 57. Yum!

Scrambled eggs with catsup rule, as long as it is Heinz. The thai chile sauce also sounds pretty dandy, too.I like mine with catsup which totally grosses out anyone who hasn't grown up on the East coast.
She had to show me a picture to prove it. That is about the worst combination I've heard of.
