H1N1 Flu symptoms

Hangovers are for sissies and amateurs.:roll: And other than the night I saw you, the thought of wine has made me shudder this week.

Off to take some more sudafed and dramamine- driving to lower Alabama this morning and need to be upright.

I have had a version of this for about 10 days- same with Bdarg. We even will feel better for a few days, then it comes back. Dizziness, head/back/shoulder ache, nausea, feeling completely "out to lunch" totally wiped out even when not dizzy, a little bit of sinus, stuffy ears, but not anything major. No fever. Did have a full day of sneezing. Labor Day we were both in the bed, felt a bit better during the week, and bam! Hit me again this morning- getting ready to go to bed now (8 pm!!!).

I have talked to several people today with the same symptoms- it is weird! Sudafed/Advil and Dramamine for dizziness helps.

So sorry for you all and everyone else who has this stuff.

The institution where I teach gave flu shots this week to faculty, staff, students, and families. The lines were long. Hopefully this will give us some protection from H1N1.

One student in line was asked by the nurse if she'd had a flu shot this year. She said that she had one last week. Of course, the nurse said that she couldn't have another one. Another kid was asked the question. He didn't know, so he called his Mom.

Still sick with a fever that won't go away, even with Advil. Achy, tired...no exhausted. Feel so bad I have cried a couple of times, I guess I am feeling sorry for myself, I just feel so pitiful.

Just going to the kitchen takes rest before and after. Didn't think I would make it through a shower yesterday, but I did, then collasped on the couch. This is where I live now.

I had visitors today!!!!!!! Mom actually knocked on the front door and handed me soup. (Instead of leaving it on the doorstep) Go ahead and laugh...its been aweful. Home prison. I am now paroled and am allowed to see people. Kitlit came into the house and visited, Swafia did too (and ran errands for me, thank you) and one brother stood away outside, but we talked for a while.

Still have a temp, but I feel sooo much better. Even vacummed today!!!

Now Hummie is sick............ Finally have freedom and no wheels.
