Happy First Day of School

me, too! I always get a little misty at this time of year..usually it is the sight of school suppies at Target or the honking of a carpool pick up. This year, I got a lump in my throat while out shopping the shoe sales and saw a saddle oxford. It's been 7 years since sarafunn wore them, but it really touched my mommy heart. Thanks for sharing all the pics of our sowal schoolmates!!!

I know Kitty. Mommy hearts are sensitive and the least little thing throws me back in time. Funny that you mentioned the saddle shoes. Bethie loved hers. I still have her 1st pair. I've really enjoyed this thread, even though I don't have any pictures to share.

I just had to post this for you Miss Kitty. Yesterday at carpool I spotted a Fashion Mom in a full-on Victoria Beckham look (minus the entourage & Bentley; not sure about the implants ).

Aside from my obvious need to update my wardrobe I am so glad school is back in session. And happily so are the boys!

Okay mothers of kindergarteners and 1st-3rd graders.....just wait. They pose and are adorable at that age.......but then they get to middle school and go stiff as a board. Here's my sweetie hating that I'm trying to get 1 picture of her first day of HIGH SCHOOL! She used to give me all those cute poses....but at least she gave me a sweet smile and was happy to be out of middle school!

I just had to post this for you Miss Kitty. Yesterday at carpool I spotted a Fashion Mom in a full-on Victoria Beckham look (minus the entourage & Bentley; not sure about the implants ).

I used to drive carpool in my pjers with a long coat over them. Back in the 80's (remember Jane Fonda?) the moms used to wear these matching leotard getups with full makeup and huge earrings that matched the colors in their leotards and "tennis shoes".

I remember and those moms drove me nuts. They must have gotten up at 4:30 to start the process and get ready on time. Back then their hair alone could take that long.

TGIF!!!! Sent little spidey off to school this morning tired and a tad grumpy from all the dancing he did at Dikki Du last night at Gulf Place. Those kids danced and ran all night. a bus would have come in really handy for me this morning...

Gulf Place has the best place for outdoor concerts - so much grass and room to move and run. ya'll check it out!
