I say the I-Phone. It took me awhile to learn how to use mine (that's just me) but now that I fairly well know my way around, I love it. And you can download a lot of cool and useful applications. (You can also download a lot of crap, too.) I would love to own the 3G but supposedly there's not 3G service available here yet. Key word = "yet." Only downside is that if you send a lot of emails, the keyboard is more difficult than traditional phones.

Unless you are going to really use the internet on it what's the point of getting an iPhone? The data plan is ridiculously expensive unless you use it all the time or really need it all the time.

That's a lot of gig.

I love my ipod.....love my music!!! I had a first generation iphone and it was doodoo.

The blackberry is great as long as you don't drop it in the toilet. And, if you aren't an engineer type, get the tutorial so you'll know how to work the thang!

I have an Itouch. ChefEd has (had until it went in the bay) an Iphone. He adores his crackphone and has missed it terribly. My arguement against Iphone has always been that phones are abused and this thing costs a lot of money to replace if something happens, like falling out of your pocket into the bay.
With my Itouch I can access internet if there is wifi available, I have all music and apps available.

I do miss being able to hit ChefEd's Iphone for internet when we are driving but this has become a luxury and has never really been a necessity.

I noticed with his Iphone too that sometimes the touch screen did not respond and it had to be rebooted several times to clear. Also, if you plug it into a car stereo jack and unplug it while it is playing, it has a tendency to get stuck in headphone mode and it takes forever to convince it to work on the speaker again, resulting in inability to hear it ring, make or recieve calls without a headset.
Oh, and the Iphone cannot be used to play music from a docking station without first turning off the phone functionality, ie. turning it into an Itouch.

I have been using my razor for over two years and it has been great but I have been thinking of going to a more data friendly device. I hate blackberry's tiny little buttons. I send a lot of text messages.

I thought the samsung would only work in areas where there is that tv coverage functionality.

That was the argument I heard last night against it.

My co-worker said that it has changed his life as far as time-management is concerned. He said that someone also gave him a book to read about it, which I'll probably do, too. He swears that it lowered his stress level because he was able to manage his life better. I could use some management.

That looks like a step up from what I'm looking at, the Samsung Eternity.

Question for iPhone devotees--how much of the love has to do with the iPod-type features? I never got an iPod, and don't really want one...
I have been using my Ipod on my i phone alot more than I thought. When I walk I use it. I also bought some little speakers that I can plug into the iphone and when I am by the pool or somewhere else I want music without using headphones. Bam, I have it. You also can upload books and many other things as well, not just music.

The data plan for me is $30 and is well worth it. I check my email quite frequently and also sowal and FB from it as well. I like being able to find a place with the Maps feature, clicking the peg and then going to the website if I need to. To me the $30 is well spent.

The problem with my iphone is that it just wouldn't hold a charge. A two min. call would completely drain the battery..... I hear the new ones have to be charged every night now. I liked all of the features.

My everthing plan on my bb is $99.99 - unlimited everything, inclusive of net, email, texting and GPS, which I love and all kinds of other stuff that I don't use.

My friend sold me with this, too...

There is probably a "manage life" app.

You're thinking of the Pomegranate! (See "iPhone killer" thread.)
