I would love to know her secrets on trading cattle futures and would she share her knowledge with the electorate. :D

Hillary is strictly a power grabbing, lieing, opportunist who is transparent in her personal ambition. She could care less about the American people. It is all about power and glory with her. I honestly believe she shares none of the belief in doing what is right that Giuliani, McCain, Bill Richardson ( who I think will be on the ticket , either on the top or as Veep ) or others that are campaigning. Politicians like Joe Lieberman are a rarity, read his op. ed. piece in the Wall Street Journal today. I wish he would toss his hat in the ring. I am inclined to believe what David Geffon had to say in his interview with Maureen Dowd of the NY Times. Geffon has absolutely no axe to grind. Hillary won't be the nominee simply because she can't win. She is too polarizing, comes with a complete set of baggage and is just a thoroughly unlikeable individual. Smart...yes...very smart. But no characteror integrity. She does make the perfect high powered high profile lawyer, though.

Perhaps I should be a little nicer, but the fact is that they are all politricktions and I don't like any of the choices. If any candidate is the "perfect" one, they will be the one to monitor most closely. ;-)

SJ......We live in different times. The era of Harry Truman, George C. Marshall, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, Barry Goldwater, William Proxmire, Mike Mansfield, Margaret Chase Smith, Elliot Richardson and Henry Jackson are long gone. The great leaders who believed in public service for the sake of public duty have gone the way of the dodo bird. Integrity , character, honesty and trust worthiness don't win elections anymore. The spoils go to the candidate who can raise the most dough and who has "charisma" and a winning personality. We live in the era of revolving door gov't. The politicians, when they lose or retire go to Wall St. or on the Corporate Boards and earn millions ( Harold Ford is the latest example). We only have a few politicians alive today who are men of character.....Colin Powell, and Joe Lieberman. Obama may have the right stuff but needs ten more years of life experience. I have a hard time recalling others even though their may be many. I am not an optimist on our political system's future.

Maybe if Hillary gets elected she can return the silverware she stole from the White House.

Hmm, here's another brilliant woman who is behind Hillary.....It wasn't too long ago that women were dying just to have the right to vote. I have every reason to be excited. WOMEN'S RIGHTS-

I'll never forget that moment in 1995 when I watched Hillary Clinton stand up in Beijing and declare that "women's rights are human rights." In front of the whole world, Hillary spoke out for every woman who suffered from inequality, injustice, and repression. Every person in the hall knew she was making history. Her act of courage still reverberates through women's lives.

I've known Hillary for nearly 20 years. I've stood side-by-side with her as she took on the fight for women's rights at home and abroad, and let me tell you: no one will stand up for all of us as she will. She is the experienced leader this country needs.

Over the years, I have seen Hillary's deep commitment to improving the lives of women and children. Now it is time for us to show our commitment to her. Will you join me in supporting her campaign's "One Week, One Million" effort?

I remember what it was like to be the first woman secretary of state of this country. Have you seen the look in the eyes of young women at Hillary's campaign rallies? Can you sense the thrill that comes with knowing their first vote in a presidential election could elect America's first woman president?

And what a remarkable woman we're putting forward into this historic moment: strong, smart, experienced, and deeply committed to the values you and I share.

The very first day of her presidency, Hillary will transform America's role in the international community because of the deep admiration she has long enjoyed on the world stage. She will restore the respect that is the foundation of our alliances and the source of our strength.

Don't let this opportunity pass by. Don't stand on the sidelines as Hillary walks through the critical early weeks of her amazing journey.

Support Hillary's "One Week, One Million" campaign right now.

Thank you so much for acting early to get Hillary's campaign -- and America's future -- moving forward.

For anyone interested, after thoroughly reading all of the background on Hillary's website, I did find her positions on two things -- 1) Children and 2) Women's rights. She is for both of them. :rotfl: That really makes her stand above the playing field, doesn't it? What I don't know is how she will incorporate them into her policies. Wait a minute, if she is for children, why is she also for abortion. (I won't go into that debate whether or not abortion is right or wrong, but find her position being "for children" and for "abortion" contradictary.)

Most of the chatter on Hillary's page is just that, chatter. I want to hear her plans, not just that she is for the American people. I, too, can be for the working class, healthcare, and correcting the problems of Social Security and the war, but being for or against something, doesn't change anything. Show me your plan, Hillary. :dunno: Interestingly, she doesn't mention one of the f'd up problems of our country -- the tax current system. I guess the IRS must be very rosy.

sucker. :funn:

I didn't say I did it.

BTW- being pro choice and "for children" (which I assume means concerned with their education, health, and welfare) is not contradictory- apples and oranges. You just gave me a headache.:bang: ;-)
