Ha! I have lived here a little over one month now and am finally getting . the phone book issue ya'll are talking about. I am now accumulating my own pile of phone books. I have all different sizes also. It seems they have found me now!!!!

I have one to avoid, based on my 82 year old father in law attemping this with less than favorable results.

Child Booster Seats: Cover them in fabric remnants.

Good idea! I thought this idea might be a bit slithery and unstable until seeing BMR's video post taking 2 TANKS to pull 'em apart. That video gave me some new found respect... maybe we've been looking at these books all wrong! They could be the answer to immigration and all manner of hinky international dilemmas!

Phone books
I was on my computer earlier and I heard a thump outside and the dog started barking. I was pretty sure by now I new what it was --- another phone book. Why do they do that. I have a small place and I appreciate having extras but this is like a waste of money!!! They move fast when they throw those things to. I heard the card roar buy also.

phone books season
I moved here a little over a month ago and I am finally realizing what ya'll are talking about. I have quite an assortment of phone books now (and no room to store them). Yesterday I was on the computer and I heard a car go by fast and a PLUNK on the walkway. My dog started barking and I said "Oh must be another phone book" and laughed. Sure enough it was an assortment of three different sizes. They are so generous, what a waste of money. I am from New Orleans and we were lucky if we could get one phone book much less a dozen or so of them. This is crazy and I'm trying to get rid of things. LOL Crazy!!

I can't figure out where to put them all and I hate throwing them away. Maybe I'll try to lay in wait and throw them at them when they drive by. My dog hates the sound of them hitting the sidewalk and he runs around the house growling and barking as though he does not have enough to bark at.
