We're getting Rita rain poured on us here in Missouri today!

I just dropped off the son who is flying ino STL and then into Columbia on a "Barbie" plane!!! I was hoping that would have moved off by now!

Chances are he probably missed the heavy rain. It rained steadily most of the day, but things finally began to settle down this evening. By 6 p.m. it had slowed down to a light rain. Looks like it's moved into Ohio. Last time I tuned into the weather channel, they were getting the thunderstorms that began here around 2:30 this morning.

May have missed the rain, but he really did miss his plane! Flight was way late leaving DFW and he missed his connection to Columbia. Called the shuttle and they were full. He gave up too early and just went to the free hotel room and will leave Mon morning!

Poor guy! Glad to hear at least they gave him a free hotel room! Might have been for the best....it's cleared up here this morning..overcast but no rain, so he should have smooth sailing (flying!).

Poor guy my foot! He had chances to rectify the situation, but gave up way too easily in our book. He did make it back to campus around 11 this morning. We did have a great visit...he really came home to see Molly...so cute!

Must be CIA. If he ever makes it to Columbia, tell him to bring us back some Muzo Mine Emeralds, but not in any Bricks since the border guards are supposedly all Aliens and can use their tentacles to sniff them out.
