Sarah Palin's "Mama Grizzlies" ad is professional and well done showing many women across America airing their concerns about their future, the future of their children and grandchildren. It's a wonderful contrast from all the metrosexuals in congress and the republicans in name only. Mrs. Brewer of Arizona is also a Mama Grizzlie. Go Sarah!

It's a great commentary on the candidate pool (and gene pool) when it seems for so many to be a good idea for a politician to represent themselves as a mama grizzly bear.

We have so many bright inspiring female (and male) leaders/role models. Wake up, people.

I wonder, when pink elephants are inebriated, do they see Sarah Palin?

Sarah Palin's gene pool needs more chlorine.

Right here!
I don't disagree with your sentiments or your post.

That being said, I also felt a heck of a lot less free after 8 years of Bush as well.

A huge number my freedoms (along with a lot of due process) disappeared with the passage (and renewal) of the so-called Patriot Act.

I also felt the iron grip of the Federal hand on me increase with the passage of each of these disasters:
  • Senior Drug Act (think of it as Federal Welfare for big Pharma)
  • No Child Left Behind (in reality its Federal control of schools and No Child Too Far Ahead)
  • Sarbannes-Oxley (the Full Employment Act for American Accountants and Auditors or how to continue destroying US business competitiveness in world markets while achieving nothing)
I could give you a similar list for the Clinton administration as well.

So while I believe this administration is an unmitigated disaster, their predecessors were too.

We keep voting for them, so I guess we are getting the government we deserve.

One of my biggest regrets in life is voting for Bush in the 2000 republican primaries. I had no idea at the time what I was voting for. I wish his brother would have run in his place, we'd be in a different place right now if he had, as I'm sure now he would have won over Gore.

A poster, Gidget I think, asked how in the past two years you felt less free.. ...How free do I feel?
No, I?m not feeling free.

Wrongo. I asked Andy "How less "free" are you right now than 2 years ago."

I said nothing about how FEELING free. Totally different.
