OH! I forgot to mention one of my very favorite things about winter in sowal!!!!!

The Beach!!! we have it all to ourselves. and it's wonderfully cozy when the wind isn't too much, and you bundle up in your sweats and scarves, etc., huddle around a bonfire, cuddle up with your sweetie, and just hang out and eat. just be. talk about living in the moment.

You guys DO love that beach, baby! I tend to get under the covers with Sunny and not stick my head out in this weather. Caught a cold already

The winter beach at Grayton was beautiful today! But thank goodness for hot showers and socks!

The only part of winter that I like (besides Christmas) is the light at this time of year. It was beautiful this afternoon.

And don't forget the sunsets! They're gorgeous in winter.

Lulu certainly loves it cold outside. talk about spunky! she goes running through the cold water outside like its nothing!

They Both are sooooo excited with the cool weather right now. Nothing like gettin your cup of "Joe" and going out on the porch and watching the two of them run on the property, like crazy banchies....... Just love watching them when it's cold.

But also love winter because:

admittedly, we MUST add to the list of winter loves: wonderful warm and fuzzy PJs. but, what am I missing out on the nick & nora stuff?

There's a story . You know how BB has these pajama parties. Well she had a pair of N&N's at her PJ party for the 4th of July and they were cute but I would never buy them. Then in the fall, we were at Target picking up food for a girl's night PJ party and they had the N&N's. She bullied me into getting them and I'm glad she did! I resisted cause I didn't want to buy them for one night and she convinced me that I could use them while the family was here over the holidays. I got them and fell in love! They are just so comfy. Made for a girl's butt. Elastic around the back of waist and soft, soft, soft. I bought a pair for each of the 3 girls that stayed at my house over Christmas for our evening relaxing. (OOB was one - she already had heard from someone else about them and LOVED them right off).

Here's the deal. BB said they are usually about $50. In November, they were $29.99 at target and right before Christmas they were $19.99. I was there after Christmas and there were a few left but better go get if you want them cheap. You'll love them!

Welcome back baby! Absolutely noticed it. Have had a cold so snuggled in bed and I have a great vie of the sunset from my bed. Sometimes, if I'm up here, I'll just glance towards the doors and it's stunning. It's really the first winter that I stayed in Sowal the whole time and never really knew how gorgeous the winter sunsets where!

BTW OOB told me to tell you guys that she can't get onto Sowal and she's trying to figure out what's wrong. She's addicted
