If you are going to hide 335 million in the new spending bill for "STD prevention" and try to spin it as "stimulous", at least know how to lie about it.

Nancy Pelosi at her best. I would like to see the rest of this, but honestly, how does 335 million for STD prevention stimulate the economy?

While it's clear to me that our new President is truely interested in following through on the promises of transparency and honesty in government, Congress is clearly still up to it's old tricks and isn't interested in playing along. The opposition to the pork filled, non-stimulating stimulus is growing and people are again looking at government with suspect.. why isn't Obama doing something about this? I mean that with the best intentions, I really expect something more revolutionary from him right now. I was watching Obama talk last night with Geitner and I saw something I really liked, a human being who isn't full of BS. But then I see stuff like this from Pelosi and I'm like, OMG, nothing has changed.
