Pecan Jacks is looking for a dedicated full-time Ice Cream & Candy Maker to join our team in Santa Rosa Beach, FL! This permanent position plays a crucial role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked with delicious, handcrafted ice cream and candy, made using our signature recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the production of ice cream and candy in Pecan Jacks' kitchen.
- Manufacture and package all Pecan Jacks products, including:
- Ice cream & pints
- Pralines, brittles, caramel, toffee, chocolates
- Waffle cones and other specialty items
- Maintain proper inventory levels of both finished products and ingredients.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the kitchen.
- Applicants must be 21 or older due to job duties involving handling and cooking with alcoholic products.
- Prior kitchen experience preferred; experience making specialty candies and/or ice cream is a plus.
- Ability to learn, retain, and apply product knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and a production-oriented mindset.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable working at a quick pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods during shifts.
- Comfortable with occasional customer-facing duties as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
