Ice Storm

Looks like we are going to have one heck of an ice storm in Northeast GA tonight, temp is 32 degrees and this system could produce two inches of rain--which will glaze over as freezing rain. The dew point right now is 20 degrees so when the saturated air begins to cool it doesn't look good...let's hope I do not lose electricity.

will be thinking of you bsmart - looks like we are gonna get some freezing rain overnight, but not to that extent. we also have 3-5 inches of snow to look forward to thursday afternoon. the fun never ends in indiana !

My deck is already iced up and my husband just got in from a late night at the office and said the roads are beginning to get a little slippery!

The GDOT reports that elevated I-85 access ramps in Barrow, Jackson and N.E Gwinnett Counties are experiencing some icing. I just walked outside and saw that the trees are beginning to glaze here, with a temp of 31 degrees now. Stay safe GTTBM and family.

Argggg. Bad timing for this kind of weather. All the college kids will be coming home this weekend after exams, so the roads will be busy. Keep safe, everyone! Drive very carefully.

Well thank goodness I got to the grocery store to get my beer and chips.....I mean my milk and bread. Now if only we can keep power. We have a generator, we may have to slip and slide to get our daughter and angel feather if we have a power outage. SIL is in Arizona this week. Thank goodness I have a nursery ready and waiting for him if the need arises!

We never get snow! Just this mess! That's why we hate winter!
