Hmmm......I wonder where that tree was that just fell? Sounded awful. I've lost a few branches too from the sounds of things outside. Aren't ice storms just fun? NOT! I am so suprised I still have power.

Ice storms are really scary..We had one about 10 years ago. Our yard is filled with trees and it sounded like guns being shot. Each time I heard the loud bang, I prayed and went outside to see where it was. Fortunately our home was spared. Hopefully you will be too. I will pray for safe travels for those on the road.

And now I just saw the flash and heard the bang of a transformer exploding.

I hate hearing that!!! Let us know when your power is restored. Oh the poor trees!!!

I never lost power...well at least not yet!

Good news! Has the frozen precip stopped? I need to go listen to the weather!

It looks like it's about over and the ice seems to be melting off the trees now. I really hate seeing how some of these trees (which surround my house) bend during these ice storms.

The storm, sans ice, is rolling over Walton County at the moment. Water spouts have been spotted just off shore, and a nasty radar red glob is moving NE from the Gulf towards Rosemary Beach. Look out!

It rained all night here in Alabamy. My yard was ankle deep this morning.
