I saw that Victoria's Secret was showcasing a $5 million bra. If they were really smart, they would have engineered a $9.99 bra and advertised it like they advertise the diamond-encrusted Christmas bra every year. Some companies don't seem to get it.
Recession - past ridonkulous bras were $20 mil!

Does anyone else look at those bras and think "all that rock and metal's gotta chafe?"

Geoffrey Beene at the outlets is running a really good sale right now as they are closing Jan 1. I was able to get my wrinkle free khaki pants for $12. They are regularly $39.99.
eww thx for the heads up, we'll be stopping in gaffney or commerce on the way home for TG. hope they have the correct size.
also if you check out the websites for tanger and prime you can sign up for coupons and they will email when sales are happening. i've never taken advantage of coupons, i've just never been a coupon cutter, but i need to start.

edit neither one have a GB, guess that's out of question now, we'll have to check eddie bauer.

And even better, make a bra that actually fits a female over the age of 15, does not look like it walked off an episode of Flavor of Love, and can hold up through at least 2 washings.

I'd rather have $5 million tata's. No doubt Mr. C would prefer that, too. ;-)

Sorry, but I meant the one at the Silver Sands Outlet Malls only was closing, not all of them.

Too funny - I love them because they actually fit and can take a beating in the laundry! (my version of "delicate" laundry is not putting something in the dryer every time)

Just hope the shoppers are spending cash and not running up the credit cards:blink:

News this morning says the job loss rate is up to 200,000 per month:blink:, so I am afraid your concern is valid.

I certainly couldn't tell this weekend!! Cheap gas, lots of filler-uppers. Stores packed. Lots of big sacks and boxes being carried out. Long lines. Lots of traffic. I think everyone got started shopping yesterday since it was cold and windy. Today, it was beautiful, so I don't know what the reason was today. But if this weekend in Texas was any indication, I don't think the retailers have much to worry about!

....I'm betting many folks who know they're in trouble (but the CC companies haven't caught up with them yet) are going to have one, big, last holiday blowout on the plastic and wait for the next government bailout to come their way or file for BK, whichever comes first.
