So you are one of those people. :funn: Last night, I found a UGA fan whose family's season tickets are now in jeapordy after cheering for Univ of Florida. I explained to her that one should never lower herself to that level and she came back with the "they're in the SEC" excuse. I am reporting her to the Bulldog Club immediately.

I saw many people wearing red at the gym yesterday, and one guy commented that he liked another guy's shirt -- it was an Ohio State Football tee shirt. I thought, maybe he is hitting on the guy, then I realized there was a football game about to get started.

That's low, SJ.;-)

I still stand by the fact that this win is good for the SEC. As much as I HATE to admit it.

My point is that we don't need Florida to win in order for people to know that the SEC is tough. (I wasn't mentioning your name just in case the Bulldog Club is monitoring SoWal.com, but now you are outed. :funno you need me to buy you a UGA shirt? or, do you want Kurt to buy you a UF shirt? ;-)

That's exactly what my husband said - 53 (or whatever) days without playing didn't help OSU. That being said, even most of the sports talking-heads say that the SEC rules.

I just did seven weeks without posting and didn't even miss it because I had something else to focus on (new baby). Maybe OSU was so focused on all the hype that they didn't have that hunger, the sense of urgency that they needed.

I think if it had been a close game, one could have pointed to the long layoff as a major or perhaps the major reason. However, the Gators were obviously faster and more talented across the board, and certainly more focused; the Buckeyes obviously went in with too much arrogance; and Jim Tressel just plain got out coached. Tressel is an excellent coach and I have no doubt he will learn from these mistakes. He does not get outcoached very often.
