End of January is a very good time to go. It's not freaking hot and if you go on a weekday it won't be hideously crowded, at least I don't think so.

We live down here and take Disney for granted. Therefore we are picky and spoiled. Hubby has a convention every year on the July 4 weekend and we get to stay at a very very nice Disney resort :clap_1: -- which is a GREAT way to go. But that time of year the parks are mobbed and, considering it's "The Happiest Place on Earth," it's awful hard to find any people in the parks who are actually happy. We have much more fun hanging at the resort.

But if you don't have kids in tow, the weather is nice and the crowds are manageable, you will have a GREAT time. I second the Epcot recommendation!

We're leaving Monday the 29th. It's mr dd's birthday too! We're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. It's a business trip for him, so I will be alone most of the daytime. Will only be there for two full days, we return on Thurs. No kids.

All I remember is to avoid crowds, go left because most people go right.

We went in Feb/March one time and froze! But, we just bought our little babies sweatshirts with Mickey on them!

Oh, just figured out this is an old post. 6-10 day forecast for west-central Florida is highs of 68-70, lows in the low 50s, partly cloudy. Pretty nice. Just bring layers but make sure you bring short sleeves! I don't think I'd bother with anything more than a light jacket.

Thanks, TFT.

I could spend an entire day at Epcot. There is a horticulture exhibit/tour- it is inside the big golf ball. A good friend told me about it AFTER our last trip- and I could kick myself because it sounded so cool.

Go hungry- and eat something in every country. And talk to the employees in each country- how many opportunies do you get to speak to people form England, France, Canada, Morrocco, Mexico, Norway, Germany, and Italy on the same day? The ones we talked to are all young and enthousiastic.

If I could do Disney without kids, I would find a book that had a bunch of trivia in it - there are lots of little details in all the parks that are easily missed unless you know what you are looking for. Also hidden Mickeys. I would crawl around all day trying to find the obscure stuff.

Do not wear new shoes. Wear your old ones, even if they look awful.

I LOVE epcot too. I think that was my first trip through Europe :rotfl: I was there in September but would love to go again. Soooo much to do and I love it. ActuallyI love all the theme parks so I'd be game for any of them and it would be great timing for a little get away. This wears on you day in and day out. PLAY is SOOOO important!
