AWWW NOW PCB is not that bad....there are some beautiful areas there and from a womans point of view there are certainly good stores there maybe just not for you ;-) (lol)

like my 'any and all construction viewable from the beach should be razed and re-duned'?

sasra is the moab (i still call st andrews state park 'sasra' because i remember when it was a state 'recreation area' pre jeb and had employees not just volunteers)

pcb is just something you go through to get to sasra

half hitch and west marine are the only good stores

everything else is just loud, garish rip-offs that reek of teen spirit and the entire area along the beach beyond the state park is nothing but hell

just my own humble opinion

there is a place that i go all the time in walton county that i will never tell where it is cause i don't want it ruined

I just have my heart in SoWal because I literally have my heart there...my sweet nephew and not to mention his wonderful parents who have become some of my best friends.(and some of thier friends ...many from this board) who are the LEAST judgemental people I have ever met! I don't mind PC...I just have no reason to go there at this time...I can guarantee that if I move down there..I will indeed visit PCB...looking for hott guys.... (did I say that out loud )

It's embarrassing that "outsiders" can't ask questions (other threads, not this one) about PCB without being mocked or told to search elsewhere. It just seems sad to me. There are a lot of people on this board that know the area very well and are more than happy to help a fellow beach-goer out.

I don't blame PCBRulez for not returning after only 2 posts! They're not stupid - - after reading the unkind posts from others that have very little of anything nice to say about PCB. Most Sowallers are genuinely welcoming, but some are not, sadly.

I'm sure PCBRulez has moved on where it's safer and more welcoming (read "tolerant & charitable").

If you see a post you don't like, call them on it where and when you see it. If you see something that is really disturbing, you report the post by clicking

The main forums should be polite and helpful, otherwise I have no reason to keep them running.

I do apologize if I offended anyone with my post. Miss Kitty, I think you are one of the most entertaining and interesting posters on this board.

I like this board for all the reasons that jdarg does. I love to travel, read, the arts, etc...just as much as most of you do, but I do have a place in PCB that I love, as well, and........I don't eat at buffets either

I honestly did not even know PCB had a board like this until a couple of days ago. I actually stumbled across this one late last year or early this year (?) and if I did not think most of you were fine people I would not have stuck around.

This is a fine board. Kurt has done an incredible job, and again, please forgive me if I offended anyone.

In the immortal words of Rodney King "Why can't we all just get along?"

Don't the folks in PC swim in the same water, eat the same fried oyster po-boys, and leave the footprints in the sand (albiet somewhat chubbier prints judging by my last visit) that we in south Walton do?

Just my 2 swipes of the debit card opinion.
