i'm sharing

this personal experience with you all because hopefully it will help keep someone else who may consider ever doing it, to not. kurt if you need to delete then feel free.

as some of you may have noticed by my postings they may have been a little off the wall, or not emotionally sound. well, truth be known i have been involved in an online affair with someone for over a year and a half that used to post on this board under his real name and now uses multiple aliases. i have never been in any type of affair in my life and i have learned so much. from my experience it has been the hardest, most stressful situation i've ever been through. i've experienced every emotion that a real life relationship would consist of and more. you love, you hurt, you suffer. online affairs are real, i just wanted to share this with you because i don't want anyone to ever go through what i've been through. EVER. if you are ever in that position try to remember this thread and think to yourself it's not worth it. i'm definitely not saying that you can't be friends, but just please be careful. i wasn't and it's caused tremendous heartache for myself and mr. aggieb.

you all have been fun "getting to know" but i am leaving the board and probably the cyber world until i'm ready to return. i have to focus on my real life now and live the life i'm supposed to be living.

we can all take a lesson from you aggieb. living your real (offline) life is the ony important thing to do. sometimes we need to step away from the internet or other distractions and try to remember that part. sometimes we need to share our mistakes in order to move forward, and also to try to help someone else in a similar situation. Thank you sharing, trusting your buds and helping.

know that you are a good friend to many and a good person who has made a difference here, and I have no doubt you make a really big difference in "real" life as well. so live, learn, forgive yourself and others, love and laugh. you will be just fine.
