This is another reminder that message boards, for all the good they can do, are not always the sweet safe place you might imagine and not everyone is who they try to come across as under the veil of a screen name and avatar. I had an unprovoked experience on here with a poster awhile back that was very disturbing and almost caused me to abandon sowal.com.

Not to make light of the situation but I have an online affair with all of y'all every day. Sometimes you rub me the wrong way and hurt my feelings and sometimes you thrill me.

Just like in real life I have to be able to handle my own self and my own business (not always easy). The internet is not like TV. It is real life. People are no different online than they are off just because you can't see them. That doesn't mean they can't be tricky, or real or fake, or schmucks or heroes. When it comes down to it, the internet is just a fancy phone. Before phones it was pen and paper.

I appreciate sharing. It is human. It began with cave paintings, and here we are.

thanks for the kind words, really. but i'm not sharing for pity at all, i just wanted you all to know how serious it can be at times. how you handle your own personal situations is your own prerogative. i am fine, i promise. so easy a cave woman can do it.;-)
