Last night one of the news shows interviewed a kid in the national guard. I call him a kid because he looked to be about 12. He has already been to Iraq and back. Now he is in NO. They asked him which was worse, harder to do. With tears in his eyes and no hesitation at all he said "This, here, now". When asked why, he responded, because these are my people. I can't even imagine the conflict he must be going through.
It touches everyone...
