Jan 31: very cold & gray today!!! refuse to leave my sofa.

Here too. I've been on the sofa since yesterday afternoon. Didn't even get up to go to bed last night. Maggie's in my spot now...

Well, I love January. It's my birthday month. The hustle and bustle of the holidays are over. I go to SoWal a little more, go visit friends a little more, because things slow down a little at work. January means it's really winter for me and I can wear all my heavy sweaters or clothes, I only get to wear for a few months of the year. I stay home more(inside) and get organized during the first month of every year. I read more.

I'm not an August person, too hot, ready for a break from the heat and the ac bills.

Today, in Seagrove, it was just a miserable cold day and I spent most of the day on the internet looking for a really, really cold cabin with fireplace and hot tub on a mountaintop in North Alabama or Georgia. Call me crazy, but I want to see snow.

I was just walking Sweet Pea and a neighbor asked me why I wasn't in FL. I replied, "Are you kidding? It's freezing down there!"

LVT - if you're gonna have freezing temps, you might as well enjoy a two day snow.....three day no work. And, yes, you are crazy.
