All I know for sure is that we have been given life by our mother and father. In other words without them there would be no life. I am assuming that we are all in agreement about this. All the other stuff is about how society is becoming more tolerant of queer (this is not a negative term anymore by my understanding) behaviors and tolerance is not a bad thing. I have no idea about anything beyond this life that I have been given by my mother and father. I sure hope there is though because I have some opinions I would like to share with those in charge

Gay is the accepted term of the day. Queer is not so much used, I don't think.

Anyway, our population could use a few couples who either have no children, or adopt. Also, I do know gay couples who manage to have babies and create beautiful families. Reproduction happens regardless.

Thankfully, families are having fewer children these days by choice. My only child has LOTS of only child friends.

Families come in many shapes, colors, sizes.

You might not exist without your mother and father, but there would still be an abundance of life on this planet.

Yes but reproduction can only happen between a man and a woman right? I just want to be sure that biology is not evolving into something else.

By the way I saw an advertisement for a Queer Concert the other day. I was not interested in it so I did not find out any more about it but if anyone is interested I will do a little research and get the information to you.

Yes, but that science involves donors of a sperm and egg which is from a man and a woman right? The only reason I want to make this point is that the constitution or people trying to interpret the constitution has absolutely no effect on nature or biology.

I'm not sure how that's relevant since there is no requirement for married couples to reproduce, and marriage is not a requirement for reproduction.

Gay couples have been adopting the throw-away children of heterosexual couples for some time now and providing them a safe environment with the love of two parents. Let's hope this is expanded.

It is only relevant in that someone mentioned that people continue to evolve. My point is that evolution requires reproduction and reproduction is between a man and woman. They probably meant that values within society have changed and I would agree with that.

I believe that Justice Roberts wrote that this ruling has nothing to do with the constitution and I kind of also believe that to be true even though it is a minority position. People should probably be deciding this issue by State however for now it is legal and possibly forever. Since it hurts no one I do not really see a problem. And yes it will provide a good home for many children so it is a good thing.

I think they might have been referring to the evolution of ideas, not Darwinian evolution. Does anyone really think there is any danger of human extinction because of this ruling? Of course not.
