I think your hair is flattering the way it is but I can see how in NYC you'd want something edgier. Thinking. It probably wouldn't take much.

Okay Kimmi - Here's my opinion for all it is worth. First a question - you mention curly - do you have naturally curly hair??

I like Jessica's cut much more. Nicole's bangs or front is toooo flat and shadows her face too much. With the humidity it would not work. You are too pretty for that. With Jessica's cut (it is gorgeous) your beautiful eyes won't be covered up. It is not too drastic from yours (in case you don't like it after you cut it) and you can still wear it up on the beach and in the water.

From looking at your picture, I can't tell if you have curly hair and straighten yours or not, but if it is curly, you have the perfect length for curly hair. Curly hair (even if it is permed but soft) is so feminine and when it is pulled back it is not completely flat but has some fullness and is wispy.

Your hair is beautiful in the picture! I hope this gives you some ideas.

Dbuck- I see what you mean...but I feel like it just hangs around my face. Like there is no shape to it!

Beach Crazy- totally went for the $14 membership. I don't have a good picture, but I've been playing with it. They do have my Nicole cut though. It looks pretty good. ;-)

TFT- Nicole is a total skank. Thanks for the sweet compliments. I have cut it about 2 or so inches since this picture...so I've lost a little length. I think I need a little edge. My friend at FIT in design told me my style is "all american" so I shouldn't go too crazy.

Imasunbum- Thanks for the input! It's blown out in the picture. It blows out straight very easily...no major leaps and bounds. But in the summer the humidity hits it and frizz central. So I have to have something that will work when I have to go curly. Because there is no fighting that!

So we have a week...I'll keep you all posted. I mean for those who even care! :roll:

Last year we went to NY and my daughter wanted a haircut for her souviner.(yes I cannot spell) She found a good stylist and you cannot believe the difference the cut made. She went from long straight hair to shoulder length with long layers. Her hair is wavy, the unruly kind, and it the stylist thinned it out a lot! SHe walked out a new person. IF you like I will pm you before and after shots. The cut will make a huge difference so go for it. THE stylist took a photo she brought and tailored it to her face shape and neckline. I had never seen anyone cut hair like he did...it was an artist at work.

I've been going to a guy that's good...but I rarely get my hair cut...same with my brows. I pay too much, but it makes such a difference! I'm just going to suck it up for the week and put some $$ aside. PM me the pics. Would love to see the difference!

Has she been back to get it cut again?
