That's what works for me, too. I figure if I'm paying the stylist, he/she should need only the roughest of guidelines from me. That, and asking my friends for recommendations is pretty helpful.
I think your hair is a lot like my daughter's, Kimmi. She uses the Chi flat iron to make it smooth and sleek, but if she doesn't, it goes all wild and wavy. Both looks look good on her. She got an amazing new haircut. It's choppy, longer in the front than in the back, slightly longer than chin length, and parted slightly on the side. It has a real kicky look to it, lots of funn.
