You would think so, but remember the substation is usually short-staffed - for example, there was only one investigator there this morning (they are split up because of the 10-hour 4 days a week, half-morning half-evening shifts) and processing a crime scene typically takes at least two, plus the one that was there was out looking for stolen vehicles and the person/people who stole them.Plus, there would have been a wrecker bill in any event, whether is it just to the sub or to the admin.
It does suck, though. There's not any dispute about that, from anyone.
