His travel agent was supposed to book him to Whoville, not Honolulu.

so wishing a pedophile, dictator, serial killer good riddance is bad karma? i see.

But see if you believe in Karma, you don't have to wish the pedophile, dictator, serial killer good riddance, because Karma will take care of it.

Ah! So it shifts the responsibility onto some cosmic force. The karma believer is just an observer. Reminds me of Christians who tell you that you're going to hell. Not that they want you to (yeah right). No they just feel certain that it's going to happen. It's ridiculous. If I believed in karma, I would have to think that belief in karma is bad karma.

The skeptic's dictionary says it better than I could. karma - The Skeptic's Dictionary - Skepdic.com

Here's an excerpt:

Karma is a law for sheep. We should not wonder that the shepherds advocate it. It is a law for the passive, for those who will not disturb the status quo, who will accept whatever evil is done as "natural" and inevitable. Karma is a law for slaves, for the vanquished.

The theory of karma harps on the Newtonian principle that every action produces an equal and opposite reaction. Every time we think or do something, we create a cause, which in time will bear its corresponding effects.

Every person is responsible for his or her acts and thoughts, so each person's karma is entirely his or her own. Some see the operation of karma as fatalistic. But that is far from true since it is in the hands of an individual to shape his own future by schooling his present.

Basically I believe in "what goes around, comes around."

And I will just have to agree to disagree with the way you see it.

How does karma relate to the individuals who are found innocent after spending decades behind bars? Would you have us believe Karma punished them for offenses unknown to us? If so, we could use Karma to justify every wrongful imprisonment by claiming they must have done something wrong for if not they would never have been found guilty.

Tests find 'nothing wrong' with Limbaugh's heart

http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/01/01/rush.limbaugh/index.html

What the article fails to state is that the tests showed nothing wrong because he has no heart.........

Also, the EEG showed limited brain activity..........;-)

I love this quote from the article--

He urged anyone who experiences heart or chest pain to seek medical help immediately.
"Don't mess with it," he said.

He still doesn't understand that millions feel they have to "mess with it" because they fear the medical bills will bankrupt their families.
