My Ecco sandals have given up the ghost and I need to replace them. Does anyone have any favorites? I've been wearing Eccos for so many years I'm tired of them. My mother recommended Teva and someone else, Keen. What I'd like is sandals that I can walk a few miles in since we typically walk at least 4 miles a day on the paved path along 30-A. That means I don't think thong style sandals would work so well. What do y'all wear?

I know alot of people love the Tevas. If I am walking on pavement, I wear tennis shoes. I guess I haven't had the correct sandals for serious walking.

I love my Ecco sandals and buy 2 pairs each year. I may look at the Danko ones this year. I have some Danko clogs that are amazingly comfortable. I've heard that surgeons wear Dankos because they have to stand all day.

I love the colors they come in! So you can walk a bit with them? I actually love the look of flip flop sandals but I thought they wouldn't work on pavement.

I'm checking out all the other suggestions!

You're right, I think it's Dansko. We have a shoe store here called Mast shoes and they specialize in shoes that are good for your feet and comfortable. It's the only place I buy shoes.
