As I left the 75 degree A/C of the house to walk the dog this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually significantly cooler outside than in! Realizing an upper 60's Point Washington morning in late July makes one wonder what all the global warming hooplah is about....

OK, so it isn't just cool up here in the northeast then. We've barely broken 85 this summer with absolutely no humidity. What's going on? My flowers are loving it. We've not used our air conditioner once yet, normally it runs constant from June thru September.:dunno:

Mid 60's in the AM when walking Sweet Pea. I almost froze to death Sunday AM. Low humidity - I don't even have my A/C on, which is a first - cannot ever remember not needing A/C in July. Am digging this, too. Are the glaciers melting?

I think Al Gore is an intelligent man; however, I do believe that the earth has an amazingly ability to take care of herself. And, I think this goes in cycles. Perhaps we needed some warming for reasons beyond our comprehension. Perhaps the hole in the ozone is there for our benefit (as well as the earth), like to release all of the methane produced by cows and others, etc.

But, for now, am taking full advantage of this beautiful weather! Some rain at 3AM would be fabulous, but I'm not complaining. Hope it's beautiful where you're located! ;-)

I'm thinking that the hole in the ozone is meant to release the hot gas from Al Gore, and others (politicians, for sure).....maybe he and his cohorts will get sucked out the hole!

true....but Al Gore's intelligence/relevance, and that of many of his cohorts is.....

I'm not going to engage in a global warming/climate change debate with you as your the type that won't believe it until it's 150 degrees outside and tumble weeds are blowing through the everglades.
