Olympic track star Marion Jones was sentenced in a federal court Friday to six months in prison, two years of probation and community service for lying to federal prosecutors investigating the use of performance-enhancing substances.
How do you feel about this? I mean, virtually every week, Jay Leno jokes about how OJ got no jail time in the deaths of his wife and her friend. Yet Jones gets time for performance-enhancing substances?
Help me sort this out. Not my area of expertise. I'm probably wrong (so tell me so), but Jones' punishment seems extreme to me.

Someone can molest a child, get away without a prison sentence cause she's too pretty, then be in violation of her "get off free" terms, only to then get away with that, too! What a screwed up, system! I'm not saying that Marion should get off... but.... this just seems skewed and screwed!
