Really. What a classy guy! NOT! Yes, I would have been upset enough to have used that type of language in private, but a person in his position shouldn't speak so crudely in front of TV cameras. It's just not professional IMHO.

You are right about the levees SJ, but when was anyone going to ante up with Bush spending a billion plus a week for the circle-jerk Iraq war. One month in Iraq would pay to upgrade the levees. NO is a one of a kind situation. Unless your going to start berming all major coastal cities. Andrew just missed the heart of Miami, and Hugo went just to the north of Charleston SC. Sooner or later, another major city is going to get smacked hard.

The problems in NO have been around alot longer than the Iraq war. A close look at our Federal Budget would find lots of spending on ridiculous programs -money that could have been used to fix the levees. I don't share your view on the Iraq war but that is probably a discussion for another thread.

Wow, I just knew the first time that I saw him on TV, that he wasn't a very strong man! I can generally spot them, from a mile away! I qualified that by saying "generally"! We've all had some nightmares , unfortunately! Hmm... I think that's why I've chosen not to date, for over a year!
