Do I really hate it when people ask themselves questions? Yes I do. Do I think Mitt is a schmucko? See previous answer. I am listening to him blather at the S.C. debate.

We see what we want to see. I have no idea how you could say Romney was blathering. I thought it was a rather boring uneventful debate except that Fred Thompson finally woke up!

Well, since the preference votes of the Democrats who bother to come out won't count in the "primary," it seems to me that many independent-minded registered Democrats in this state might have elephant-like memories and decide in the general election to go with whichever more moderate Republican likely ends up getting the nomination.

That was a long sentence. Anyway it seems a stupid thing for the DNC to do in a critical (possibly the most critical) swing state.

Another thing interesting is that Giuliani is counting on Florida to prop up his campaign. The ads are running hot and heavy, at least in the I-4 corridor. I understand that campaign budgets are limited, but I don't get the whole approach of campaigning in "only" some states, and in turn the voters usually end up voting among the candidates who have been campaigning in their state. The list of candidates is the same for everyone, is it not? It's all politricks, and it has nothing to do with which candidate would actually do the best job of running the country.

when the candidates cherry pick the state to run in, the low down, sniveling weasels in the corrupto-corporate media give said candidates a pass for not trying/spending much in the ignored state.

Go to your Supervisor of Elections office and vote absentee ASAP. That is the quickest way to get you off the call list. Calls cost money, they do not call those who have voted once it gets into the system. Your husband would also have to vote to get the household off the list.

Thanks for this ... I did not know. Early voting starts Monday at 10 a.m.!

Here is a scary admission. I, hnooe2000, have to admit (although I really hate to do it), as a Nancy Pelosi/Ted Kennedy Democrat leaning toard Barack or Hill, that a Romney Presidency would be totally "stomachable" (especially in light of the last 8 years.--at least I would not have to look at the condescending, goofy grin and fake Texas bravado..whew!)

i think Romney is the only chance the Repub.'s have!
