I think religion needs to be removed from the political process. Candidates need to clearly state their positions and beliefs and keep their various religious affiliations out of it. I don't care what religion someone practices - I care about their personal ethical code and policy decisions.

EVERY religion has a fringe or cultist element to it (and some pretty entertaining and rarely publicized tenets), and IMO the louder you proclaim your faith and true devotion to spiritual life, the less likely you are to be telling the truth.

I have had my fill of politicians arguing and pandering about the distractions and red flags of school prayer, holiday vs. Christmas trees, posting the 10 commandments, their opposition being controlling by this church or that, gay marriage etc. when there are REAL issues and REAL problems that need to be dealt with.

If we do not elect a great leader with ability and integrity in this election, I am firmly convinced we will all have front row seats to watch the decline of the American Empire.

Could he run w/o a VP, win the Presidency then Pardon Warren Jeffs and make him VP? Then first order of business is a new Admendment declaring Mormon Undergarments for all Americans.
