pajama weekend sounds great to me. but with temperatures in low to mid 80s, we need to head out for some fun outdoors at some point!!!

It has rained all around SoBuc all summer, but very little at my house. We are hoping Danielle brings some rain this way~~~~

Painting the house next door( the never ending project) and remodleing the basement bathroom. I need to get the bathroom done before the wedding. Company coming in from Vegas.

I love to fall asleep on the sofa with the dogs on a rainy afternoon. Looks like y'all are really getting deluged. Maybe we'll get some this weekend.

Fall feels to be in the air, even those I know it's just a tease. Spending the weekend with two old peeps for one friends birthday (her 45th) for an all girl celebration. It's going to be a great weekend to sit inside, drink margaritas, eat birthday cake and watch silly movies from the 80's when we were growing up.

We got teased with a little rain early Wednesday morning. We need about a foot more.

I'm going to a sale in the morning at my favorite antique/shabby chic shop and then resting up for what should be a funn night. Big slumber party with six crazy blond women. We all used to work together and haven't seen much of each other in ages. There might be drinking involved, maybe some smoking and even some cussing.

well, we did have a fantastic dinner at Fat Clemenza's tonight. plus a sleep over/party going on here right now. I think that's enough funn for one weekend. I'm IN for the weekend!yay.

We really need rain in GA. Irrigation systems don't even do the trick when it's this dry.

Yesterday there was a brief, strong, and windy rainstorm that lasted less than an hour and gave us over an inch of rain. That type of rain usually doesn't do much good because it doesn't soak into the ground.

Unfortunately the sister of one of my colleagues was injured as a result of the storm. A huge branch fell from a tree and hit her vehicle. She suffered a severe brain injury and had to be helicoptered to a large hospital for surgery. Her two children were in the vehicle and suffered no physical injuries.
