I guess what got me so caught up in this story, other than their general awesomeness as a family and her underrated talent, was the fact that Mr. TFT was in a bike accident last Saturday. He broke his collarbone and a couple of ribs and his helmet was cracked in three places -- but his CAT scan was fine. I guess I didn't realize how lucky we were.

Wow! I'm glad he's ok! I wonder if they will find that the fall dislodged a blood clot or tore an artery.....from every account I've read or heard, the fall itself wasn't that significant.

I'm glad Mr. TFT was wearing his helmet. .

Maybe one wouldn't have helped her -- hard to say from the reports. I know if Mr. TFT's accident had happened this weekend instead of last, my drive from Tampa across the bridge to the hospital in St. Pete would have been a lot more terrifying.

They are such a classy family; I would bet that a) they donated her organs and b) they will find some comfort in the fact that helmets and head injuries are going to be discussed within many families and perhaps as a result some lives will be saved.

TFT, I hope he's feeling better and I understand completely your thought process. I was thrown from a horse right after Christopher Reeves' accident. My injuries could have been a lot worse; I was very fortunate, but went through two major surgeries.....psychologically, it did a number on me. I wish your husband a speedy recovery and glad he was wearing a helmet.

I agree with every thing you stated. They will definitely find a positive and beautiful way to honor the memory of such a beautiful lady.

This makes my heart sick. She so reminded me of my younger sister and best friend, who died a few years ago. She was only on hospice for two weeks. She didn't tell anyone. I didn't know until she fell into a coma. I held her for three days before she passed away in her daughter's home.

Every breath is a gift!

This makes me so sad. They were a class act as far as Hollywood couples go. I wish this had turned out differently. My heart goes out to the family, especially the children.

I was really sorry about this, too. It was not typical Hollywood recklessness, carelessness, or thoughtlessness, but a vacation with her child. I was trying to remember what movie I had recently seen Neeson in, and was shocked by the irony when I realized that it was Love, Actually, where he plays a widower. I can't imagine the shock and pain he is going through. No amount of money or fame can alleviate that.
