updated 10/7/2010 6:24:29 PM ET LAS VEGAS ? U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle told a crowd of supporters that the country needs to address a "militant terrorist situation" that has allowed Islamic religious law to take hold in some American cities.

Her comments came at a rally of tea party supporters in the Nevada resort town of Mesquite last week after the candidate was asked about Muslims angling to take over the country, and marked the latest of several controversial remarks by the Nevada Republican.

In a recording of the rally provided to The Associated Press by the Mesquite Local News, a man is heard asking Angle : "I keep hearing about Muslims wanting to take over the United States ... on a TV program just last night, I saw that they are taking over a city in Michigan and the residents of the city, they want them out. They want them out. So, I want to hear your thoughts about that."........please, what does this mean?

Having a woman like Angle ahead in the polls against Harry Reid for a senate run has a lot to say about the popularity of Mr. Reid. I mean, if the guy was beaten by a credible candidate, that would be one thing, but to go down to Angle? Dems might want to take notice of that. They've been in control for four years now and the country is clearly very displeased with how they've been running things.

I may not be able to vote for them, but I have happily contributed funds to their campaign. My dog could run this country better than the current administration (Senate, House & President)!!! I actually kinda like O'Donnell. She's spunky and kinda fun. Her positions on most issues are acceptable.

It's not so much as the people wanting Anlge or O'Donnell as it is about people wanting the likes of Reid and Pelosi out.
