I beg to differ....and I am not Russian. I have been to the worst beach. It was actually voted the second worst beach in the USA. Can't remember which was #1, maybe somewhere on the east coast-;-) All I'll say is that it was in Louisiana and it's now been blown off the map. But, in all fairness, I must say that I have MANY fond memories of that beach. So maybe, sometimes, it's the "experience" and not the "seascape".

HEY! Don't knock the Cajun Club Med! I am sure you are referring to Grande Isle or Holly Beach. Just remember, silt is better than sand and the fishing there kicks butt!

Gross! You can tell you're on a Yankee beach when there are no Alabama Crimson Tide tents pitched and Pepsi empties are littering the sand.

Pepsi....... I am a southern gal...give me coke!!!! (although I am VERY dissapointed in Columbia...it is hard to find a coke in most resturants..... )

No kidding! What is up with Pepsico being the beverage provider of choice in the panhandle? The phrase "Is diet pepsi OK?" in response to a diet coke order is like fingernails on a blackboard. No! No! No! If I wanted that flat tasting Tab knock-off, then I would have ordered it! Gross! Take that pepsi and dump it in the bay...give me coke or give me beer!
