There is something about the fresh slate of a new year that I love. New calendars, datebooks and such always feel like a treat.

Resolutions:

I'm not making any big ones this year.

Move a little more and save a little more might be one.

Visit SoWal more often is another.

Spend less time online is my last.

Do you have any?

Oh, and, Happy New Year everybody!
May your next year be much better than your last!

I always make a bunch - it's a good way to identify what my goals, hopes, and major "to do" items for the year are.

One of my themes for 2010 is to clear out a lot of unnecessary stuff and fix things I have let slide. Lots of long term projects that have been lingering - like actually printing out some of my thousands of digital photos and putting them in albums.

Another is to try and improve the world in a variety of ways and levels.

One way is that I am going to save all of my change for a year and then donate it all to Greg Mortensen to build a school - major karma points and it pisses off the Taliban. :D

Begin Anew
I release that which no longer serves me. My spirit is restored.
With the start of a new year, I eagerly anticipate doors opening wide with new possibilities. I am grateful for new beginnings. I welcome the opportunity to release that which no longer serves me, knowing that life can begin anew for me. I open my heart and mind to receive my good.
While I may or may not make New Year's resolutions, I resolve to focus my attention on "being" rather than "doing." This year, I allow myself the gift of reflection. By tuning in each day to the Divine Presence within me, I find my spirit is restored and my vision for myself is expanded. I am able to create the life that I desire. By staying in the present moment, I see the Truth of me--and I am a joyful new creation.

I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.--Revelation 3:8

The likelihood: :D

hmmmmmmmmmmm........... I need to finish my new year's resolution from last year - remember DD? I was going to take all my photos from all my boxes and sort and make photo albums, etc. also print those digital ones that live on my computer and add them to the albums. I got a pretty good start but its still way undone.

my new resolution for 2010 is yoga. I miss it. and being without it has left me less healthy in several ways. I'm going to do it. its not a hard thing to do. getting started is the hard part.

happy new year to all!
