O.K. then. I use Simple green for everything. Swifter's for dust. Mens underwear for rags because they are lint free. Anything else because once upon a time the U.S. Coast guard spent a lot of money to teach me how to clean things.:dunno:

That Magic Eraser is genius! My advice is to clean top-down, so you don't have to re-clean that which you have already cleaned. (eg- clean the kitchen counter tops prior to cleaning the kitchen floor.)

Thank you! I think we may have discussed this on here before--but I've never been able to convince certain people that live in my house! It only makes sense.

Seriously? I recommend hiring someone. I can't afford that, so I'm thinking of moving. My house looks like it threw up since I've barely been in it since Christmas.

The Magic Eraser really is wonderful. I usually start with the bathroom, spray everything down and let it sit while I am cleaning other rooms. I don't have a particular product to recommend, but I've been wanting to try the Method line from Target.

Lucky...you need to post again real quick like. Lookie at your post count.:D

I love my Dyson vac. cleaner....

Does anyone know of the best way to clean the bottom of a tub/shower that is a fiberglass insert? It is supposed to be white and I have used many things...help please!!

I've been using vinegar, water and baking soda a lot with some lemon occasionally thrown in because I've been having the damndest time tolerating cleaners later, even glass cleaner. The only ones I can stand the smells of without my throat literally locking up is scrubby bubbles and Comet. Someone told me about Target's Method and eventually when IO get around anywhere near Target, I'll stop in and give it a swiff.

Oh, I also use the fabric softeners for dust clean up when they are finished with the wash, so you get more bang for your buck. It's great for pet hair.

I was being totally serious - caffeine, magic eraser, and swiffers are the only things keeping me from squalor!
