I remember something a few years ago that something in it was toxic to pets and I stopped using it. I haven't snoped that, so, who know? I bought a magic eraser mop a few years back and it's pretty cool.
Swiffer doesn't hurt pets. I looked that up a few years ago.

The wood floors at my home here in Georgia are looking really dull. They're heart pine stained a mahogany color with no polyurethane/urethane finish. Any ideas, anyone?

I don't spring clean. I summer clean because spring is the busiest time of my work year. So my house is a total mess right now.

Thanks BR. It was so long ago it was pre-snopes. But, I just went and looked it up as well. Ding dang it, there's one reason I don't have to not mop anymore:angry:

It's usually the polyurethane/urethane that give the floors that shiney look. Without it they will have the more dull "natural" look. Wax might shine them up, but it's going to be high maintenance.

I, too, have become addicted to the microfiber cloths. Bought my first one at Target and the price for one made me go . Just seemed like a lot of money for one lousy cloth. Well...then I used it. So, I was shopping in Family Dollar one day and found a a bundle of five cloths for not much more than I'd paid for the single name brand one. So, now I own a bunch of them. A great line of cleaning products is Mrs. Meyers. They're a little pricey, but the scents are great, especially for spring cleaning. I really like geranium, but she also has basil, and this year I noticed she has rhubarb...! I'm guilty of spraying down my countertops with the stuff to make it smell like I did a thorough cleaning.
