I got 12 of 13. I should have stuck with my gut for the % of women in congress whic is 20%. I said 30%.

Otto knows he's full of it. Who is asking for the government to be open and who is keeping it closed? The party of personal responsibility isn't demonstrating any. The party that hates government enough to shut it down is quickly finding that same government provides important services taxpayers want and need. It's sadly comical that Boehner is claiming were he to lead the House to vote and open the government Obama would be getting everything he is asking for. All he is asking for is the government to be open and congress to pay the bills for the money they authorized and spent. He isn't attaching any other demands to this request.
Like they said on the daily show, you can't fart and blame it on the dog. Otto may be full of it, but his position has become a cause of sorts that has solidified some members of the GOP.

I said you were full of it because The President didn't close anything, it was the House led by Boehner. There is a protocol departments go through when there is a shutdown and all the screaming on Fox News doesn't change that fact. If Conservative media thinks the President has time to sit down and line item closings they are more delusional than the Teaparty.
Now for your links, I'm not clear what your point is unless now you realize that the reckless actions taken by House Republicans is having worldwide consequences. One of your links talks about not paying Congress, I disagree, the American people elected them. They are what we ask for so pay them. It may lead voters to think a little harder next time they are standing at the ballot box.

Yes that's the answer, every time an unpopular consequence of the Republicans making arises the President needs to issue a directive. Wait, you're serious aren't you?
