My husband said, "Oh, the girl who did them was so nice. She was just so sweet." I said, "What was she like?" My daughter pipes up--"Black dreadlocks, black eyeshadow, ring through her nose, pierced lip..." My husband adds, "Ear extenders in her lobes..." By then I was laughing. And she sent my daughter off with a Russell Stover marshmallow Santa. What a country!

I got one around the big 50--very discreet--a cross, mainly because my friend paid for it, and my husband told me no wife of his would EVER have a tattoo. Only took him three weeks to notice it!

I got one when I was in my 30's - had always hesitated because I thought I'd regret it when I got old, and then I realized I already was old. Got a very simple (all black ink) angel on my left shoulder!
