Omigod Peapod, give me a heart attack! I thought YOU were the one going to the tatoo parlor. You know how some ladies go all wacky when they're approaching a big "OH" birthday...I am relieved to see it's only ear piercing we're talking about here. I was about ready to call for the smelling salts. :D

Mermaid, tats are cool.....I got one for my 30th and I'm really wanting another, maybe for the 40 mark :D

Speaking of piercings, there's a guy here at work who has one in his ding a ling. He said he has to sit down to pee now. My question is, why on earth would someone want to do that?

WOW...hoops!!! That's so awesome...I am sure they are very small in order that they don't get caught and pull on anything! (sorry Momma K just spoke!) What a great story she has to tell!

We dodged the extra piercing/tattoo around here....now my daughter (who asked a couple of times for an extra earring hole) hardly wears earrings and is so glad she didn't pierce her navel in HS/college! It actually makes her more unique! Right sara82?!
They are pretty small, I took a couple of pics last night, but I'll try to get a better one today in the daylight. I know they're a lot more comfortable than posts, especially in newly pierced ears. And she does have a great story, doesn't she?
Well, I got my navel pierced in my 30's, don't remember exactly what age...even kept the ring in during a pregnancy! But I've long since taken it out, SS.

Congrats to the little pea!! I remember how exicted I was when my mom and dad let me get my ears pierced. However, back when I was 10 and got them done you did it at home. My stepmother did the first holes that I got with a big needle, and froze my ears with ice cubes. It was not pleasant. The last four holes I got were done with a piercing gun. Much easier!

Eek! My husband's sister did the "ice cube" ear piercing to him when he was 14! Ah, those were the days... :lolabove:
